Scott Hamilton

Sr. Director, Customer Channels & Operations Management

With nearly 30 years of experience leading enterprise-wide improvement efforts in the financial services industry, Scott brings extensive knowledge and expertise to the Spinnaker team. He is an inclusive, solutions-focused, battle-tested leader with a passion for solving the most complicated of challenges.

Scott brings to Spinnaker an extensive background in sales, fulfillment, and operations, and their underlying technology platforms. He spent the first half of his career with GE Capital launching start-ups, integrating acquisitions, and running a variety of key businesses. More recently, he leveraged the breadth of his experience to lead a series of strategically important redesign efforts in the home equity and deposit businesses, delivering step-change improvements in speed, cost, satisfaction, and compliance. 

Scott’s current focus is on guiding large financial institutions through the complexities of process redesign efforts. He excels at value chain optimization, regulatory event remediation, and acquisition due diligence and integration, and has the unique ability to lead diverse teams through complex people, process, technology, and policy improvement efforts.

He received a B.B.A. from Emory University and is a certified Six Sigma Master Blackbelt. He is FINRA Series 7 and 63 registered. Scott has had the opportunity to live, work, and travel in much of the world — with his two sons, now mostly grown, in tow.
