Stephanie Hoehn

Advisor

Stephanie is a business professional with over 10 years of experience working in financial services, specifically within commercial banking. Stephanie tackles problems with a genuine intellectual curiosity while asking tough questions and expertly driving projects forward. She has a reputation for being hardworking and dependable – when Stephanie says that something will get done, you can believe it. Stephanie's areas of expertise include business analysis, operations analysis, and process improvement.

One highlight of Stephanie’s career has been working on strategic team design – creating appropriate leveling, footprint, and staffing models that successfully shifted work within the organization. She has also played the role of a product owner, designing Salesforce processes for over 200 commercial banking users, working under intense regulatory scrutiny and tight timeframes to automate the bank’s Know Your Customer (KYC) process. Process engineering has been the foundation of her career, and she has created hundreds of process artifacts to capture the current state process, identify waste, suggest and implement improvements.

Stephanie has her Six Sigma Green Belt in lean process management and loves to roll up her sleeves to wade into the “mess” of a process. In her tenure at Capital One, Stephanie managed teams of business analysts, process engineers, and process managers. She has a passion for helping her team members reach their professional goals, and especially for mentoring young women.

Stephanie graduated from Tulane University with degrees in finance and Spanish. She now lives with her family in Washington, DC. She stays busy chasing after her two young daughters and teaching a weekly yoga class. Stephanie also volunteers her time in the community: as a PTO president, Girl Scout troop leader, member of the Junior League of Washington, and volunteer at A Wider Circle, an organization working to lift one family and one individual after another out of poverty. In her minimal free time, Stephanie enjoys gardening, camping, and reading.
