Amanda McNally is an Advisor with Spinnaker in Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance. She has subject matter expertise in Fair and Responsible Banking, Compliance Testing and Training. Amanda brings nearly 20 years of regulatory compliance experience, with 16 specializing in UDAAP and Fair Lending. She has provided senior level compliance oversight for nearly every consumer business line including both lending and deposits. Due to her diverse background in banking, Amanda maintains the philosophy that banks of all sizes can not only grow but thrive and set themselves apart by foundationally having a robust compliance management program. She has been credited with building engaging compliance management training programs that leverages her background in Adult Learning Theory.

Prior to joining Spinnaker, most recently Amanda was Senior Vice President in Enterprise Testing and Validation UDAAP compliance as well as Remediation Validation for non-mortgage products within Wells Fargo’s Enterprise Testing Program. Amanda has been credited with designing and leading the Fair and Responsible Banking compliance program supporting U.S. Bank’s Home Mortgage division, and with building the UDAAP testing program for non-mortgage products (consumer lending and deposits) at Wells Fargo. She has strong proficiency in many facets of compliance including: first line, second line, consulting, control and outcome-based testing, and performing fair lending analysis. She has held a variety of front-line roles throughout the bank.

Amanda used her expertise in Adult Learning Theory to develop and facilitate seven compelling and engaging compliance classes for the American Bankers Association’s Compliance Schools and is a member of ABA Compliance School Board. Amanda firmly believes that providing front-line staff, middle management, and senior leadership a solid baseline understanding of compliance risk not only helps to mitigate risk exposure, but also lays the groundwork for a strong compliance / business partner relationship.

Amanda resides just outside of Philadelphia in South Jersey with her husband, two daughters and two dogs. She and her family have a vacation home in Brigantine, NJ which satisfies Amanda’s love of the beach. She graduated from Rowan University with a degree in Communications. In her spare time, Amanda owns Vacations by Coastal Haven where she develops direct booking websites for Short-Term Rental owners.
