As a Spinnaker advisor, Fandenia brings over 18 years of experience in financial services, specifically mortgage servicing. She is versatile and goal-oriented, with vast expertise in process improvement, regulatory compliance management, risk management, project management, and key business relationship management. Her strength is in cross-functional collaboration and her ability to challenge internal/external stakeholders to ensure objectives are met.
Throughout Fandenia’s leadership roles, her significant contributions include establishing regulatory compliance management frameworks as well as complaint management, compliance testing, quality monitoring, and standard operating procedure documentation processes. Her responsibilities included completing comprehensive regulatory impact analyses, completing risk/control assessments, advising on process and control re-engineering measures, and directing projects through implementation to confirm regulatory compliance. As a result, she has consistently improved performance and productivity by establishing a substantial number of business processes and controls throughout her tenure.
Fandenia graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems and Management. She also completed her Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Fandenia resides in Houston, Texas with her significant other, Daniel and one son. In her spare time, Fandenia enjoys traveling, spending time with family, shopping, singing, dining out, attending her son’s sporting events, and volunteering. She volunteers frequently preparing meal packages for the less fortunate. Fandenia is very active in her church, where she serves as the praise and worship leader and the leader of the scholarship committee. She also acts in stage plays, which she has enjoyed for the last 10 years.
