As an Advisor with Spinnaker, Kyle brings over 23 years of experience, with expertise in retail bank leadership and regulatory compliance. Kyle has served as the senior compliance advisor to multiple lines of business, including retail banking, lending, and deposit operations. She believes in the limitless power available when risk management and operational efficiency are thoughtfully united with ongoing and intentional cultivation of a healthy, joyful, and vibrant work environment.

Kyle is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), and a Certified Enterprise Risk Manager (CERP). Her regulatory compliance knowledge spans deposit, lending, sales practices, and operations. Special areas of expertise include: The Electronic Fund Transfers Act (Regulation E), Overdraft Payment Programs, Truth in Savings Act (TISA; Regulation DD), Expedited Funds Availability Act (Regulation CC), Policy and Procedure, Sales Practices & UDAAP, Customer Complaints, Exam Management, and Incentive/Compensation Programs.

  • Design, development, and delivery of role-specific, relevant compliance training to all Retail Bank job families of Umpqua Bank (formerly Columbia Bank).
  • Design and implementation of bank-wide Risk and Control Self-Assessment processes.
  • Graduate of the Washington Bankers Association Enterprise Risk Management Development Program.
  • Former Chair of the Oregon Bankers Association Compliance Committee.
  • Past holder of an Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification and Series 6/63 securities licenses.

Prior to joining Spinnaker, Kyle served as a senior compliance officer and direct advisor to the Director of Retail Banking for Umpqua Bank, where her diverse wealth of experience helped forge and maintain a strong partnership between production and risk teams. Kyle’s various roles in production, operations, management, audit, compliance, and enterprise risk management have given her a unique understanding of the way perspectives and motivations must be blended in service of an organization's strategic goals.

In addition to her life as a banker, Kyle is a trauma-informed holistic, wellness and mindfulness Coach and a yoga teacher. She specializes in helping high-achieving individuals remember what's real and discover what's next, so they can move through life with confident purpose and authentic embodiment.

Kyle is a lifelong Oregonian, married to the love of her life with whom she has three amazing children. She can often be found journaling or practicing yoga near a waterfall, somewhere in the world.
