Mark brings over 15 years of financial services industry experience to Spinnaker’s clients. He specializes in project management and advanced business analysis with an emphasis on business operation improvements. Mark offers independent technical expertise in system analysis, quality assurance testing and business analysis that ensures critical system interfaces, system business rules, requirements and financial reporting are functioning in compliance with requirements and within acceptable guidelines. 

As a Senior Consultant/ Business Analyst he has worked and led teams at major financial institutions where he utilized effective leadership skills in all phases of performance: project management, project research and development, credit and risk strategy, operations management, team management, analytics, and business development. Mark is an accomplished motivator in building a result-oriented team-based environment with documented results. He has expertise in developing and maintaining system documentation which includes the system requirements document, requirements traceability matrix, development test plan, and related project documents. He is known for creating an environment where collaboration and openness are valued, where innovation is powered by perspective, and where teamwork and respect for one another lead to superior results. With this core belief, he has initiated, implemented and overseen the improvement of processes to aid in more efficient use of time and resources at all levels within organizations. He has also enjoyed establishing process improvements for operational and risk and control functions, post-fund data quality and analytics.

Mark attended Virginia State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems. He is a Certified Safe Scrum Master and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. He currently sits on the King William County School Board and is a member of the Chesapeake Bay Governors School Board. In addition, Mark has served as a member of King William County Parks and Recreation Board and served as a volunteer for the Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (VICAP) in Richmond.
