Peggy LeMay is an Advisor in Spinnaker Consulting Group’s Customer Channels Operations Management practice. A results-driven professional management consultant with more than 20 years in financial services, Peggy’s strong business acumen allows her to view business problems with a wide lens and then narrow to connect the dots and build executional plans to drive desired results. She is experienced in strategic planning, change management, risk management, process management, and mergers and acquisitions.
Peggy spent her early career at a multinational company, working in various roles with General Electric in the plastics division before moving into its GE Financial Services arm – with an eye told building programs that held risk at bay. Joining a Wachovia national bank’s brokerage division allowed her to lead multiple merger activities, including the systems conversion for the transition to Well Fargo bank. After a decade consulting with several large banks, Capital One Financial, RBS and Silicon Valley Bank, Peggy recently spent several years building out TowneBank’s risk management program required to meet regulatory expectations of crossing the $10 billion deposit threshold.
With a degree from Penn State in Social Science, Peggy holds Six Sigma blackbelt and project management certifications. She lives in Richmond with her husband, Scott, and their four children, two dogs and two cats. When she isn’t partnering with clients, she enjoys cooking, gardening, yoga and time on the beach, particularly Great Guana Cay in the Bahamas.
