Rudy Venturi brings decades of experience in risk, cybersecurity, and technology leadership to Spinnaker. He thrives at bringing people from multiple business functions or organizations together to collaborate and build successful solutions.
Rudy has provided risk, security, and technology consulting services to three of the Big Four US banks, as well as several other Fortune 100 financial services and technology firms. Rudy led an enterprise security and privacy standards program while developing and implementing operational risk management programs for a Fortune 500 financial services firm. He served on two global cybersecurity vendor customer advisory boards. He enjoyed leading the implementation of large enterprise control initiatives, including a data protection program involving global deployment of technical DLP controls. Blending his data analytics skills with his risk management focus, Rudy provides senior management teams with executive risk reporting and metrics to inform decisioning, drive risk reduction, and improve compliance posture.
One of Rudy’s core competencies is educating leaders, staff, clients, and partners to mitigate risk and empower humans to function as a robust control layer. He was privileged to lead a large enterprise security education program which provided functional security awareness training to tens of thousands of staff worldwide. He further layered on focused, specialized, role-based training to product development teams and other selected groups.
Rudy holds a BS in business management and has held professional certifications including CISA, CISM, CISSP, PCI-ISA, and a variety of technology certifications. Beyond enterprise risk and security, he is honored to serve his community, where he has spent nearly two decades as adjunct faculty at Oregon State University, and a volunteer, board member, and committee chair for a variety of human services and education-focused organizations.
