With over 14 years of experience in analytics in the Financial Services industry, Jack Gooding brings both technical and strategic expertise to Spinnaker Consulting Group. Jack leverages data and technology to develop creative and impactful business solutions. Jack spent most of his career at Capital One, where he served in several data-related and management positions.
Jack is an accomplished data analytics leader. He has developed talent supporting all aspects of Operations and effectively built offshore teams to support critical business processes. Prior to joining Spinnaker, Jack managed data workstreams for several massive integration programs supporting tens-of-thousands of end users.
Jack’s significant analytical skill set includes SQL, Python, Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau), and data management expertise. He has served as Product Owner for data products and has experience operating in Agile. In addition to these technical skills, Jack has a passion for collaboration and fostering an environment for team success.
Originally from New Orleans, Jack graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, where he earned degrees in Mathematics and Economics. He now resides in Richmond, VA with his wife, Niki. Together, they enjoy all that Richmond has to offer, including its history, culture, and dining. They love to travel, both abroad and throughout the US.
