Janeth is a seasoned leader in product and business analytics, with over 16 years of experience in financial services, consumer lending products, operations, and customer experience. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Janeth has consistently demonstrated a successful track record in driving impactful initiatives within regulated, innovative, and technical environments while maintaining operational excellence. She is passionate about solving complex problems with a customer-centric approach, backed by analytics, a can-do attitude, and a fervor for bringing people together.

During her tenure at Capital One, Janeth held several key roles, showcasing a progression of leadership and a consistent record of delivering tangible and impactful results. She possesses the ability not only to understand the big picture but also to delve into the details. Leading multiple teams, programs, and product launches leveraging Agile methodology, she is known for reimagining business areas and processes. Janeth employs Design Thinking and business analytics to define a north star, craft a multi-year strategic roadmap, and lead teams towards delivery.

Janeth holds an MBA from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business, where she received the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence, placing in the top 10% of her graduating class. Her academic achievements also include a Master’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico and a Bachelor of Science in Computing Systems Engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander in Colombia, where she graduated Cum Laude and received the Laureate Thesis Award. Both her Master's and undergrad theses focused on leveraging artificial intelligence to solve complex real-life problems.

Actively engaged in leadership and community initiatives, Janeth served as a Board Member on the University of Virginia Darden Global Advisory Council, led numerous diversity and community initiatives during her tenure at Capital One, received the 2015 Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever Award from the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility, and undertook pro bono consulting work in Colombia. Devoted to her family, she loves spending the holiday season with them in her native Colombia. Outside of work, you can find her traveling, dancing, paragliding, or learning something new.
